About Operation Insanity

Operation Insanity was launched in the late 1980's running on a 2400 baud USR modem with a whopping 40MB of storage. Over the years it slowly grew until the entire system took up almost 1GB in 2002 when it was shut down due to lack of use.

While browsing his archives in 2014 I discovered that the entire system was still viable and decided to put it back online. It is currently running on a VM and will remain online until I can no longer support it.

at the time Operation Insanity was retired we were part of FidoNet, PodNet, and KinkNet, the current plan is to rejoin FidoNet as the other networks are defunct so far as I know. Below is a list of the games, message and file areas supported on Operation Insanity when it was retired.
